just breathe.

Today was one of those days where I had to take a step back & remind myself to just breathe. In the past I’ve tended to deal with anxiety and stress through avoidance.  As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned that backing out of uncomfortable situations is a sign of weakness. In order to be successful in life you must learn to responsibly cope in stressful circumstances.

I’ve also learned that managing stress sometimes requires taking a few minutes to collect yourself and not immediately react on the instinct to panic. It’s not always easy but with calm, level headed confidence, you can push through those moments of distress.
